Claverack Historical Society, by Zoom, scheduled for Monday November 15th at 7:00 PM. The purpose of this meeting is to develop a course forward and survey those interested in working toward a productive and secure organization.
Currently, we need to elect a complete slate of officers. The Covid pandemic limited our ability to have meetings and elections. At this time the term of the current officers has expired The president and vice president are limited by the constitution to three consecutive terms which have been met. Members of the board of trustees have a limit of two consecutive terms, and one trustee has met that limitation according to the constitution.
The attached file contains the nomination form showing the positions that need to be filled. I would like to set up a nominating committee as soon as possible to explore filling these positions. Please consider volunteering. Completed forms must be returned by Tuesday, November 23rd. I will be available on a limited basis to assist the new slate of officers.
These are troubling times and Covid is still a concern however we should try to move the organization forward.
